Hi Here's a song and my devotions again.
This song is to the tune of 'Do your ears hang low'
If you died to night where would you go? Would you go to heaven where your Savior waits? Would you stay with Jesus for your whole long life? If you died where would you go?
If you died tonight where would you go? Would you go to a land of fire and brimstone? Would you be in constant pain for your whole long life? If you died where would you go?
I would hope to go to my savior for life, not to hell full of pain and suffering. I would want to live with God not without. If you died where would you go?
Did you like it?
Well now I'm gonna post the Bible verses and tell you about the devotional story.
OK I think its about being eager about getting the wisdom of God.
The verses are Proverbs 1:1-7& 20-23
And here they are
"The proverbs of Solomon the son of David, king of Israel;
To know wisdom and instruction; to perceive the words of understanding:
To receive the instruction of wisdom, justice, and judgment, and equity;
To give subtilty to the simple, to the young man knowledge and discretion.
A wise man will hear, and will increase learning; and a man of understanding shall attain unto wise counsels:
To understand a proverb, and the interpretation; the words of the wise and their dark sayings.
The fear of the Lord is the beginning of knowledge: but fools despise wisdom and instruction.
Wisdom crieth without; she uttereth her voice in the streets:
she crieth in the chief place of concourse, in the openings of the gates: in the openings of the gates: in the city she uttereth her words saying,
How long, ye simple ones, will ye love simplicity? and the scorners delight in their scorning, and the fools hate knowledge?
Turn you at my reproof: behold I will pour out my spirit unto you, I will make known my words to you."
The devotional story goes something like this
These boys are working in a garden and they hear the ice cream truck. They ask their grandpa and he says that they could get some ice cream. Then he said that the ice cream reminded him allot of the Bible verses I just posted. He said it called them just like wisdom, except wisdom is allot better. His grandsons asked how they could get wisdom. Their grandpa said to read the Bible.
Well that was my devotions
Katie:)
PS. My Bible is KJV so yeahhh.....
