Mountain Men

I have fallen in love with someone who is dead! His name is Jim Bridger! In fact I've fallen in love with all kinds of mountain men.... And I want to be a mountain woman! It'd be AWESOME!
Some interesting info about Jim Bridger.......
He married three times, and each time his wife died. All of his wives were Indian women, and he knew Kit Carson.
His mom died when he was eight (If I remember right) and then his brother and dad followed within a year. He became a mountain man by going on an expedition with Some guy named Ashley. He was the youngest of all the men, and befriended the oldest, Hugh Glass. He also befriended the second youngest Jedidiah Smith. (Or Jed Smith)
He was born on Saint Patrick's day, and died at age 72.
Now I also have a quick and interesting fact about Jed Smith. He was scalped.... But he didn't die, and someone (I don't remember who) sewed his scalp back on. The person who did it wouldn't have sewed his ear on, but he made him.
Jim Bridger also was a trapper and seemed to always know where the beaver were. It was rare to get beaver back then, because they would always run away. He told lots of tall tales. His favorites were his story about being chased by Indians till he found himself in a box canyon. He would pause when he got to there, and then his listener would ask, "What happened then Jim?" "Why them Inujuns done scalped me!" Was his answer.
Another tall tale he told was of when he was going for a ride, and saw a forest. Everything was wonderful about the forest except for one thing. It was petrified. And there were petrified birds singing petrified songs.
Well Mom is saying I gotta get offa here.... Later! As Emma would say, Peace Out!
